Nép Vào: To draw back.

Nê: Bùn.

Nê Lý Để: Nirrti (skt)—Một trong các vua La Sát—One of the raksa-kings.

Nê Nhân: Kẻ tội đồ trong chốn địa ngục—A sufferer in niraya, or hell.

Nê Tháp: Theo tục Ấn Độ, nghiền hương thành bột, trộn đặc lại như bùn, để làm tháp nhỏ cao chừng năm sáu tấc, để kinh điển bên trong mà cúng dường. Mật Giáo dùng pháp cúng dường “Nê Tháp” nầy để cầu kéo dài tuổi thọ và dứt bỏ mọi tỗi lỗi khổ đau—Paste pagoda; a mediaeval Indian custom was to make a small pagoda five or six inches high of incense, place scriptures in and make offerings to it. Nê Vi Trần: Mritparamanu (skt)—Bụi đất—Clay-atom—Trong Kinh Lăng Già, Đức Phật dạy: “Một khối đất sét thì không khác, cũng không phải không khác với các hạt bụi hay nguyên tử của nó—In the Lankavatara Sutra, the Buddha taught: “A lump of clay is neither different nor not-different from its atoms.”

Nền Tảng Phật Pháp: Basic Buddhist Teaching.

2)A pole set up in front of the house during seven first days of the year.
