Dearest Martin Stephen Lowe [Nguyen Thien Bao],
We, of the Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery, the Buddhist Youth Group and Vietnamese Language School wish to convey our sincere commiseration on the recent event of your late father's passing.
We acknowledge that Mr. Harold Morgan who was born in Yorkshire, England on the 12th of July 1927 and who passed away in Inglewood, Victoria, at 10.30pm, Saturday, 10 June 2006, aged 78 years old will be sadly missed and has contributed significantly to your families.
Mr. Harold Morgan served in the Signals Corps of the British Army between 1945-1948. In 1963, after bringing up his family in Warwickshire, England, he brought his wife and children to Australia. After settling in Melbourne, he moved several times between Victoria and Queensland, before finally settling in Wedderburn, Victoria. In 1963, Harold first worked in a shoe machinery supply company in Melbourne. After several career changes; including owning his own pet supply shop, in Thornbury, Victoria, his working life concluded when he retired from the Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade due to ill health.

On behalf of Quang Duc Monastery, we want to share your families' sorrow and wish to convey our support and sympathy during this sad time for your mother, Margaret ‘Peggy’ Morgan (1921-2017), brothers; Robert Edward Lowe (and wife Patricia), Christopher John Lowe, especially yourself, Martin Stephen Lowe [Nguyen Thien Bao], your wife Bach Tuyet Lowe [Nguyen Thien Hanh] and all of the children. Also to your uncle (his brother), Otis Morgan and Chris, and to your father's very special friend Harold Barkley.
The grief you are experiencing is hard to bear at any time, but please remember that we are with you, and anxious to help lighten your load.
May your father be reborn in the peaceful realm soon, may you be filled with faith and hope even in the midst of inescapable grief. This is the prayer of your masters and friends.
