su vien tichVào ngày 10, tháng 9, năm 2002 đã diễn ra việc khai quật cơ thể của vị trưởng giáo Lạt-ma Hambo Itigelov qua đời vào năm 1927 trước sự chứng kiến của người thân, quan chức chính quyền và các chuyên gia ở khu nghĩa trang gần thành phố Ulan Ude (Liên Bang Nga).

Thông tin này đã được truyền rộng trên truyền thông của Nga về vị Lạt-ma Buryat (sau này gọi là Hambo Itigelov ), người đã được khai quật từ một ngôi mộ vào đầu thế kỷ 21. Ngôi mộ này gồm một hộp gỗ và trong đó có đặt một vị sư Lạt-ma ngồi xếp bằng ở thế kiết già. Cơ thể của ông được bảo quản nguyên vẹn như thể nó đang được ướp xác. Cơ bắp và da của ông vẫn còn mềm mại, các nếp nhăn vẫn còn. Cơ thể ông được bao bọc bằng một bộ quần áo bằng vải lụa.

Vị trưởng giáo Lạt-ma Hambo Itigelov khá nổi tiếng trong lịch sử nước Nga. Ông học ở Anninsky Datsan (Đại học Phật giáo ở nước cộng hòa Buryatia, ngày nay chỉ còn lại di tích) và đã đạt được bằng y học và triết học (bản chất của sự vô vi), ông đã biên soạn quyển từ điển bách khoa dược. Trong kinh điển Phật giáo có miêu tả về hiện tượng này, tức là cơ thể của các vị sư có thể đạt được trạng thái “bất hoại” thông qua phương pháp tu luyện thiền định. Nhưng điều này chưa bao giờ được chứng thực. Và giờ đây điều này là một minh chứng rõ ràng.

This was done in 1955 and in 1973 by Buddhist monks but they were scared to tell everybody about this, since communist regime did not leave any space for religion in society. The official statement was issued about the body – very well preserved, without any signs of decay, whole muscles and inner tissue, soft joints and skin. Embalming and mummifying is well known among different nations and peoples – Chile (Chinchorro), Egypt mummies, Christian Saints, communist leaders and others. Some bodies were found in permafrost, however when they contacted with oxygen atmosphere they perished within several hours.

However, there are descriptions of such things in Buddhist texts, but there are no confirmed examples. Well, now there is.

For two years after the exhumation of Itigilov’s body it does not perish nor decay, no fungus, no negative things happen to it. Itigelov said before he died that he left a message to all peoples on Earth. This message contains no words. Now it is our turn to understand it.

ẤN ĐỘ: Hội nghị Phật giáo Quốc tế lần thứ 4 Từ ngày 26-9-2014, Hội nghị Phật giáo Quốc tế (IBC) lần thứ 4 - do Bộ Du lịch Ấn Độ và chính quyền các bang Uttar Pradesh và Bihar tổ chức – sẽ diễn ra tại Bồ đề Đạo tràng và Lộc Uyển với mục đích quảng bá di sản Phật giáo tại Ấn Độ. Một trong những mục tiêu của Bộ Du lịch là tạo cơ hội cho các chiến lược kinh doanh mới hướng đến thị trường di sản Phật giáo. Trên 300 đại biểu từ 30 nước dự kiến sẽ tham gia sự kiện này. IBC lần thứ 4 đóng một vai trò quan trọng đối với cả Phật tử và Ấn Độ. Ngày Tỳ Kheo Ni Quốc tế (IBD) lần thứ 4 đã được tổ chức vào ngày 6-9-2014 trên khắp thế giới. Ý tưởng này bắt nguồn từ Liên minh Tỳ kheo Ni tại California, Hoa Kỳ, vào năm 2011, với mục đích tôn vinh vai trò của chư ni trong việc gìn giữ Đạo pháp. Liên minh Tỳ Kheo Ni đã khuyến khích việc tổ chức sự kiện này tại từng khu vực cho những ai cảm nhận mình có quan tâm đối với sự phục hưng của Tỳ Kheo Ni Phật giáo Nguyên thủy.

Thư viện có một bộ sưu tập gồm hơn 10.000 cuốn sách về Phật giáo. Tọa lạc bên trong một cửa hiệu 3 tầng, thư viện Văn Thù được thành lập vào năm 1996 và do Tu viện Nam Hải Phi Lai Quan Âm ở Gaylang quản lý. Nó mở cửa cho công chúng và thực hiện các khóa học về Phật giáo cho người lớn và trẻ em. Là người khánh thành thư viện lần này, Phó Thủ tướng Teo Chee Hean phát biểu rằng các hoạt động của thư viện phát huy sự hiểu biết tôn giáo và tăng cường sự hòa hợp của xã hội. Thủ tướng Narendra Modi đã bắt đầu ngày thứ 2 của chuyến thăm Nhật Bản 4 ngày với việc viếng ngôi chùa Toji nổi tiếng tại thành phố lịch sử Kyoto. Thủ tướng Nhật Bản Shinzo Abe cùng đi với ông trong cuộc tham quan khu chùa cổ này. Thủ tướng Modi sau đó đến viếng Kim Các Tự, ngôi chùa được xây dựng vào năm 1397. Vào tháng 8 tại sa mạc Perris, California, nắng vẫn còn gay gắt trên dưới 100 độ F (= 37 độ C), cây cối quanh chùa nhẫn chịu cơn nắng hắt, cố giữ màu xanh của lá, để tô điểm cho hai ngày lễ: Tịnh Tu Tam Bộ Nhất Bái và khánh thành chùa Hương Sen cũng như Đại Hồng Chung vào ngày 23 & 24/8/2014.

Mỗi năm, lễ rước xe ngựa của Hồng thần Machhindranath được tổ chức tại Thung lũng Kathmandu ở Nepal. Người ta tin rằng sự sùng kính đối với vị thần từ bi này sẽ mang đến lượng mưa thuận lợi, một vụ mùa bội thu và một năm thịnh vượng. Đặc biệt đối với một người Nepal sinh tại huyện Lalitpur của thung lũng, lễ rước xe ngựa của Hồng thần Machhindranath là một phần của cuộc sống. Phật tử thờ Machhindranath như vị thần đại từ bi – Lokeshawara Karunamaya – trong khi tín đồ Ấn Độ giáo thì xem ngài như hóa thân của Thần Shiva.

Tôi cũng là người Việt Nam – Ich bin auch ein Vietnamese“ câu mở đầu trong bài nói chuyện của Tiến sĩ Rupert Neudeck trong ngày Đại hội kỷ niệm 35 năm Cap Anamur do Ủy Ban Cap Anamur phối hợp với Hội Người Việt Tỵ Nạn Cộng Sản Hamburg tổ chức trước Tượng Đài Thuyền Nhân Tỵ Nạn CS tại cảng Hamburg ngày 09.8.2014. Câu nói của ông đã gây một ấn tượng thương quý mãnh liệt đối với hơn 3.000 1 người Việt từ khắp nước Đức cũng như từ vài quốc gia lân cận đến tham dự buổi lễ… Đây cũng là câu nói để đời trong ngày sinh nhật 75 tuổi của ông và lần này có thể là lần tổ chức cuối cùng kỷ niệm Cap Anamur theo như Thông Báo của Ban Tổ Chức.
