Toulouse, France, 14 August 2011 - His Holiness the Dalai Lama said he has been impressed with Kalon Tripa Dr Lobsang Sangay's views on education, praising his policy to generate 10,000 professionally trained Tibetans within the next decade... His Holiness went on to say that he has three fundamental commitments. The first is the promotion of basic human values and the achievement of full human potential.

His Holiness began with an introduction on the importance of religious harmony based on study and sympathetic understanding between the different traditions.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is greeted by well-wishers on his arrival at Shedurb Choekhorling - A Tibetan Buddhist Center at Mount Saleve, France, on 12 August 2011.... During lunch His Holiness the Dalai Lama said faith must be developed on the basis of conviction and thorough reasoning. Otherwise faith is not stable.

His Holiness complimented the Tibetans in Switzerland for their dedication to the Tibetan issue as well as integration into the Swiss Community.

Addressing the problem of corruption that plagues India and China, the Dalai Lama said that the absence of moral values was the reason behind the rampant rise in corruption.

His Holiness said that at different times different teachers have highlighted the wonderful spirituality, the message of harmony.

Washington DC, USA, 16 July 2011 - On his last full day of stay in Washington, D.C. during this visit, His Holiness theDalai Lama first bestowed the longevity of White Tara to the people. Thereafter, a long life prayer was conducted for His Holiness the Dalai Lama by the organizers of the teachings. Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche recited the attributes of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, his contribution to humanity and the recognition he has been receiving from the international community.
