The Australian Sangha Association was established in 2005 in Sydney to provide support, create a dialogue and for members to learn about each other and other monks and nunsof all Buddhist traditions in Australia. There are currently 150 monks and nuns of Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions in Australia who are members of the Association (the Association is calling for many other monks and nuns to join). Since then, annual conferences are held to share past achievements and discuss upcoming activities.

May 2020 be a year of strong practice in supporting a greater kindness and care for each other. So many Australians are suffering right now from the devastation of theseextraordinary fires which have taken the lives of humans and many other beings who call this vast continent "home". Many are left homeless and destitute - and so much of this beautiful land has been stripped bare in the path of the fires. None of us are untouched by the loss of life and habitat and the collective suffering and grief of our nation.

Hội Tăng Già Úc Châu được thành lập vào năm 2005 tại Sydney, để giúp đỡ, đối thoại và tìm hiểu lẫn nhau giữa Tăng, Ni, những người xuất gia thuộc tất cả những truyền thống Phật Giáo tại Úc Đại Lợi. Hiện có 150 tăng ni thuộc các truyền thống Nguyên Thủy, Phát Triển và Kim Cương Thừa tại Úc là thành viên của Hội (Hội đang kêu gọi nhiều tăng ni khác tham gia). Từ đó, hằng năm hội nghị được tổ chức để tổng kết lại những sinh hoạt đã qua và bàn thảo những hoạt động sắp tới.
